Background

Whym is a mobile app that offers last-minute travel deals. During my time collaborating with the team, I designed a set of custom icons representing major landmarks in each city, featured in the tour tooltips. Inspired by London’s Baroque architecture, I used clean lines and geometric forms to create simplified yet recognizable icons. One of the key challenges was distilling each landmark’s character into minimal elements while preserving its identity. To ensure visual consistency across the entire set, I manually adjusted each icon to maintain a balanced visual weight.
