Meebak is a startup skincare brand that needed a complete visual identity for its public launch. As the sole designer, I led the end-to-end design from brand identity and packaging to the full website experience.
The brand targeted women in their 30s who care about skincare quality but shop smart. Every visual decision, from logo to packaging to photography, had to signal premium within an affordable price.
I started by defining four brand keywords: reborn, youth, elegant, and lively. These guided every visual decision from the start. For the logo, I explored four directions that each interpreted the keywords differently. We landed on Option 4 — its curly letterforms best captured the elegance and friendly energy the brand needed.
I designed a color-coding system where each packaging color corresponds to its key ingredient, making products instantly recognizable and scalable as new formulas launch. Gold accents throughout the packaging reinforce the brand's elevated positioning without pushing it into luxury territory.
The brand website extended the visual identity into an interactive and smooth purchase experience.
Meebak started on Amazon but needed a dedicated website to tell its brand story and showcase the full product line. To bring the brand keywords to life, I used soft pinks and illustrations throughout the site to reinforce the brand's elegant yet lively personality.
Meebak hit No.1 Cica Cream on Amazon within three months of launch and was featured by CNN Underscored as one of the top 15 skincare products.
